About Saginaw Creative Studios

Saginaw Creative Studios is a fiction and publishing imprint, focusing primarily on titles published in paperback and digital formats. We publish fiction, health, and business books, and we hold each one to the same simple standard: it has to earn its place on your shelf.

The name Saginaw comes from a poem Jonathan Fashbaugh, the founder of the studio, wrote for his wife as they dreamed of owning a homestead out in the country. Saginaw Creative Studios is an outflow of this dream, dreaming of quality content shared across the globe, flowing from a business with humble roots in the countryside.

Fiction

Jonathan writes speculative fiction under the name Jon Fashbaugh. His novella, K.I.A., follows an Army Ranger unit cut off in Mongolia that takes shelter somewhere that shouldn't exist.

His current novel in progress, Live and Impersonated, sends Tom Han and security officer, Reggie, from the year 2844 back to 1972 to protect Elvis Presley and keep humanity's past from explosive destruction. A piece from it earned a Notable Honorable Mention in the 2026 Page One Prize. The novel is in revision now and heads to developmental edit by December 1, 2026, with publication planned for 2027. White Horse Book 2 is in the early stages of development as well.

Health

Our health titles are practical books for patients and practitioners, grounded in real practice. The first, Your TMJ Story by Dr. Prabu Raman, is planned for 2027.

Business

Jonathan has spent 25 years in marketing and as an entrepreneur, and our business books come out of that work. The Marketing Mix That Works, a marketing manual built to help dental offices grow, is available now. His dental and marketing books carry his full name, Jonathan Fashbaugh.

The Man Behind Saginaw

Jonathan Fashbaugh lives in Missouri with his wife and children. He has a marketing business, Pro Impressions Marketing, where his team helps dentists from around the United States grow their dental practices, and Jonathan enjoys meeting with them and consulting on their marketing.
